WEEKEND DANCE

Claudio Cecchetto, Visit Romagna Ambassador, came up with the idea of transforming the Notte Rosa into a long weekend dedicated to dancing, a large open-air dance floor, to dance and have fun to the most varied and engaging rhythms.

The Notte Rosa, from 5 to 7 July, is a weekend dedicated to dancing in all its facets, fun and physical well-being.

The poster represents a festive audience enthusiastic about participating in the numerous events organized for the Notte Rosa 2024. Weekend Dance is more than a slogan, it is the new interpretation of the Notte Rosa in a dance version!

The desire to move, feel good and fit, having fun and releasing positive energy, being carried away by the rhythm of a choral event in the name of physical well-being and the desire to share emotions: themes and suggestions that will act as a common thread for the 2024 edition of the Notte Rosa, which aims to relaunch Romagna as a dance district.

Dance as a body language that unites and becomes the perfect driving force to promote the internationalization of the Notte Rosa; a dance that is good for health, both physical and mental, bringing well-being and harmony.

A journey through dance that begins with one of the symbols of the ‘Romagna of the world’: the great tradition of liscio, a true soundtrack of Romagna, an unbreakable myth that unites generations far away in time. 2024 will mark the 70th anniversary of Romagna Mia, a cornerstone of the history of Italian and Romagna music, an emblem of the union between music and dance, live performances and flash mobs.

The most anticipated novelty, in addition to the rich program of artists who will be on stages throughout Romagna, is the

FLASH MOB “WEEKEND DANCE”, a collective event in which everyone has been invited to participate by taking to the streets, meeting in the squares, on the beaches, on the seafronts to dance together the new and original choreography to the notes of “Weekend Dance”, the song created by Moreno il Biondo with Claudio Cecchetto and the collaboration of other DJs, for La Notte Rosa.
