THE PINK NIGHT 3-9 AUGUST 2020
YOU CAN'T STAY FAR FROM YOU
The 2020 edition of the Italian summer New Year's Eve could only adapt to the new social dynamics and for this reason become an event spread across time and space: a real pink week, from 3 to 9 August, in which Romagna will present its excellences and tell its essence.
A story that begins with the poster, from a new graphic concept born with the aim of transmitting simple and immediate emotions, like Romagna in its innate and timeless sweetness and spontaneity. Iconic elements of Italianness and allegories of the seaside holiday that blend together, in a joyful atmosphere, on a path that leads to the discovery of a land full of surprises and easy to reach and experience by any means, perhaps even with an unscheduled bike ride. The proverbial hospitality of Romagna is expressed in the official 2020 image of PINK WEEK as the line of continuity between memories linked to traditions and the dynamic push towards the future, between the ties with tradition and the constant ability to innovate and reinvent itself that has always characterized this hospitable land. A place where you can feel safe and at home, where you can find yourself, where you can return perhaps simply because, as the maestro Secondo Casadei wrote, “You can’t stay far from you”.
It is no coincidence that one of the elements of the poster - created by the Impronta Digitale agency - that frames this 2020 edition of La Notte Rosa, recalls a timeless icon, an "old", albeit "brand new" in its pink enamel, small 500. Temporary parked near the road sign indicating "Romagna", it carries on its luggage rack overloaded with things, the allegory of the summer vacation: many objects useful for a long stay, a Pink Week, with moments dedicated to relaxation and long swims in the sea, but also full of widespread moments of celebration, certainly "more unplugged" than usual, as well as the discovery of a hinterland full of surprises and easy to reach perhaps with an unscheduled bike ride. In short, even in the visual, we wanted to relaunch a hymn to sweetness and easy going, to taking yourself simply, to enjoying even the little things, to rediscovering the pleasure of feeling “slow”, of feeling free, of feeling - ultimately - “loved” inside that gentle and inclusive heart that is called Notte Rosa, that is called Pink Week and that, above all, with just one word is called: Romagna.
