The 2026 edition of Notte Rosa – Hit's Summer, the great celebration that has symbolically inaugurated the Italian summer for over twenty years, concluded with a sky colored by the Frecce Tricolori and thousands of people scattered across beaches, squares, villages, and hills. Three days of events encompassed the entire Romagna region, from Comacchio to Cattolica, transforming the region into a single, vast stage and once again confirming the power of an event capable of uniting tourism, culture, entertainment, traditions, and regional promotion.
After Friday's spectacular start with a large synchronized fireworks display along 33 kilometers of coastline and Saturday's full day of concerts, shows, and activities for all ages, the Sunday of the summer solstice represented the natural culmination of the Pink Weekend. A day that showcased all the facets of Romagna, from the sea to the hills, from the cities of art to the seaside resorts.
The most anticipated symbolic moment came in the afternoon in Bellaria Igea Marina, where thousands of people crowded the seafront to watch the Frecce Tricolori Air Show. The National Aerobatic Team's acrobatic displays provided one of the most exciting displays of the entire weekend, concluding the event with the Italian flag painted in the sky above the Riviera.
Sunday, however, began many hours earlier, when Romagna awoke to its traditional pink sunrises. From the beaches of Cesenatico to the hills of Savignano sul Rubicone, passing through Verucchio and Gatteo, thousands of people welcomed the sunrise with music, yoga, meditation sessions, and concerts immersed in nature. These events have become one of the most distinctive features of the Notte Rosa over the years, and in 2026 they again attracted significant participation.
In Rimini, the day was marked by the International Yoga Day and events along the seafront, while the evening concluded with the traditional Liscio Street Parade. In Miramare, Rivabella, and Viserba, the celebrations continued with shows, orchestras, and family entertainment.
In Codigoro, against the extraordinary backdrop of Pomposa Abbey, Nina Zilli took the stage with the Martini Big Band. The concert, organized as part of the celebrations for the millennium of the historic abbey's reconsecration, combined the charm of one of Emilia-Romagna's most important cultural heritage sites with the voice of one of the most acclaimed artists in contemporary Italian music.
The overall outcome of the 2026 edition is that of an event that continues to evolve without losing its identity. Over 160 events spread across nearly 40 municipalities, a program capable of engaging diverse audiences, and widespread participation along the Riviera and inland have confirmed the Notte Rosa as one of Emilia-Romagna's main tourist and cultural events.
