Romagna is gearing up to kick off the summer and be bathed in pink once again. From 19 to 21 June, La Notte Rosa – Hit’s Summer returns; in 2026, it will mark its 21st edition and remains one of the most recognisable and eagerly awaited events on the Italian tourism scene. Three days during which the Riviera, the cities of art, the historic villages and the hinterland become a single, vast shared space dedicated to music, entertainment, culture and fun, transforming the region into a collective narrative capable of engaging both residents and visitors.

Whilst the major live concerts, the stars of Italian and international music, the widespread shows and live broadcasts on national radio stations constitute the best-known face of the event, there is also a Notte Rosa made up of experiences that tell the story of the region in a more intimate and authentic way. This dimension is shaped by initiatives for families, children’s activities, sporting events, nature walks, travelling shows, art, culture and local traditions, all of which help to make the programme even richer and more diverse.

The long Notte Rosa weekend will thus offer a mosaic of diverse events, designed to engage all ages and offer different ways of experiencing Romagna, from bustling main squares to quiet moments to be discovered at a more leisurely pace.

Families and children take centre stage: the Notte Rosa to be enjoyed together

Bellaria-Igea Marina is focusing on children with the “Pink Week for Children”, scheduled for 16–20 June. The Other Pink Night: A Party That Never Stops Surprising

Alongside the main shows, however, there's another Pink Night. A Pink Night made up of unusual experiences, contemplative moments, ancient traditions, and events that showcase a region still capable of surprising.

In Rimini, on Friday, June 19th, the south beach will host "Un Mare di Rosa in Riva – La Notte Rosa è a Riva presenta: ten years of Un Mare di Vino." The event will take place from Bagno 50 to Bagno 63, from 6:30 pm to midnight, transforming the coastline into an evening journey through sand, sea, flavors, and entertainment. The program will celebrate ten years of "Un Mare di Vino," featuring the wineries of the Rimini Hills, local products, an exhibition dedicated to producers, and moments of storytelling related to wine culture. The evening will continue with live music, contemporary circus, fire artists, DJ sets from the '70s, '80s, and '90s, and the new Ballo 2.0, with local dance schools performing on the beach.

In Verucchio, on Saturday, June 20th, the Notte Rosa will be a blend of walking, local culture, and conviviality with "Hit's Summer – Walk and Dinner Under the Stars." The event will begin at 5:30 pm from Villa Verucchio with a guided walk through the historic center. Upon arrival in Piazza Malatesta, participants will be welcomed with an aperitif and live music. The evening will then continue with dinner under the stars, featuring menus offered by local businesses and featuring local producers. The event will continue until 11:00 pm, offering a slower Notte Rosa experience, inspired by the flavors and hilly landscape.

On June 21st, Sogliano al Rubicone will combine nature, astronomy, and music with a walk along the "Sentiero dei Pianeti," an educational hiking trail inaugurated in 2025 that connects nature and scientific dissemination. The itinerary, designed by the Soglianesi Astrophile Association (VEGA), will lead participants through eleven stations representing the Solar System to scale. The day will continue with dinner at Agriturismo Cà Poggio, a concert by Denise Battaglia, and an evening dedicated to deep-sky observation with telescopes and stargazing activities.
In the province of Ravenna, for example, nature will take center stage. At the Cervia Salt Pans, it will be possible to experience "Salina sotto le Stelle," a nighttime experience combining astronomy, stargazing, and the silence of the salt pans. Aboard an electric boat, accompanied by an expert astrophysicist, participants will be able to observe the stars and the moon far from the light pollution of the city, transforming a summer evening into a journey of science and awe.

Near Ravenna and the Po Delta Park, nature will also offer other extraordinary scenarios. "Boscoforte between heaven and earth" will guide visitors on a discovery of the Boscoforte Peninsula, an extraordinary environment inhabited by wild Camargue-Delta horses, while "The Flamingo Ride at Sunset" offers a bike ride past bodies of water, silence, and colonies of flamingos in one of Italy's most evocative natural landscapes.
Casola Valsenio will offer an immersion in the colors and scents of nature with "A Thousand Shades of Lavender," guided tours dedicated to the different varieties of the summertime plant, combining aromatherapy, botany, and sensory experiences. A slow-paced experience, far from the big stages, yet perfectly in tune with the widespread spirit of the Notte Rosa.

Contemporary art will also be featured in the program. Bagnacavallo and Lugo will host "Elementi," a festival that intertwines experimental music, artistic performances, and natural landscapes, transforming unusual locations in Romagna into almost surreal settings.
Among the more unique events, the charm of folk traditions stands out. In Argenta, you can take part in the Acqua di San Giovanni ritual, an ancient custom linked to the summer solstice that combines gathering wild herbs, folk tales, sunset trekking, and the ritual preparation of propitiatory water according to peasant tradition. This experience showcases a Romagna region that still preserves ancient and symbolic gestures.
The province of Ferrara will also offer a curious blend of sport and historical heritage with "Pink Castle Music and Boxing" in Mesola: the Estense Castle will be decked out in pink to host amateur men's and women's boxing matches dedicated to the values ??of sport and mutual respect.
In Codigoro, in the setting of the Pomposa Abbey, the "Battisti Candle Experience – The Music of the Soul" will take place on Thursday, June 25, from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The abbey's large park will be illuminated by a thousand candles for a concert dedicated to Lucio Battisti. The program will be performed by an ensemble consisting of a string quartet, piano, acoustic guitar, and vocals, in an intimate and evocative atmosphere.

In Ferrara, from June 18th to 21st, the Municipal Hippodrome, at Via Ippodromo 31, will host the Giostra del Borgo, now in its 23rd edition. The event will feature the historical reenactment "Ferrara Under Siege," featuring a medieval citadel, encampments, soldiers, archers, theatrical and musical performances, firework displays, conferences, duels, battles, a tavern, an inn, and banquets. The opening hours listed are evening hours, from 7:30 PM to 11:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with the restaurant and tavern open every evening from 7:30 PM. It's an event that combines historical reconstruction, entertainment, and conviviality.

Also in the Ferrara area, Pomposa Abbey in Codigoro will host one of the most evocative atmospheres of the season with "Battisti Candle Experience – The Music of the Soul," a concert dedicated to Lucio Battisti bathed in the light of hundreds of candles.
And then there's the sky. On Sunday, June 21st, Bellaria Igea Marina will once again be ablaze with the Frecce Tricolori Air Show, one of the most anticipated events of the entire weekend, bringing together families, tourists, and residents in a spectacle that will symbolically close the long pink festival.

The Notte Rosa 2026 is thus preparing to confirm its identity: not just concerts, major musical events, and widespread performances, but a vast mosaic of experiences where nature, art, sports, traditions, families, and culture coexist. A festival that continues to evolve without losing its soul. And this year too, from the sea to the hills, it promises to tell the story of a Romagna capable of surprising long after midnight.
