La Notte Rosa - Hit's Summer has established itself as a major, widespread event that engages the whole of Romagna, from the coast to the hills, with a programme that goes far beyond music. Alongside concerts, shows and performances by leading artists, the programme features numerous initiatives dedicated to sport, personal wellbeing, outdoor activities, exploring the local area and connecting with nature.
From dawn walks to excursions in the nature reserves of the Po Delta, from yoga and meditation sessions to sporting events, La Notte Rosa offers opportunities to experience the region in an authentic way, promoting an active and sustainable lifestyle whilst showcasing landscapes, traditions and often lesser-known places.
In Rimini, the first event dedicated to sport will be the traditional Pink Race, scheduled for Friday 19 June. Now in its eighth edition, the event will start at 7.30 pm from Bar Dolce Spuntino at 1870 Via XX Settembre, with registration and a meet-up from 5.30 pm. This is a non-competitive run-walk open to everyone, covering a seven-kilometre route that passes through Giovanni Paolo II Park and reaches one of the city’s landmarks, the Arch of Augustus. The Pink Race is not designed exclusively for athletes, but for families, groups of friends and residents who wish to experience the Notte Rosa through physical activity. At the end of the event, refreshments, an awards ceremony and the presentation of the event’s official pink medal are scheduled. Also in Rimini, throughout the weekend of 20 and 21 June, the “Wellbeing and Awareness in the City” initiative will take centre stage, organised to mark International Yoga Day. Activities will take place between Piazzale Kennedy, Parco XXV Aprile, the former Cinema Astoria and Rimini Terme. On both days, there will be a series of guided sessions dedicated to yoga, breathing and meditation. The classes will be led by teachers from the Yoga in Viaggio project, coordinated by Manuela Ronci, and will allow participants to practise in some of the city’s most picturesque locations, from the sea to the urban parks. The initiative aims to promote healthy lifestyles and transform the Notte Rosa weekend into an opportunity for widespread wellbeing open to all.
In Coriano, the programme of “MTB Night Rides in the Coriano Area” continues. The rides set off from the Youth Centre in Via Piane and offer the chance to discover the hilly landscape surrounding the Riviera through evening mountain bike trails. The meeting point is at 8 pm, with departure at 8.30 pm and return scheduled for 10 pm. The experience offers an unusual perspective of the area, cycling along dirt tracks, paths and panoramic views immersed in the tranquillity of the evening. Participation is free and open to all.
On Sunday 21 June, again in Coriano, the “Dawn Walk: Wellness and Nature – Sun Salutation” will take place. The event will set off at 5.30 am from the Le Saline Centre and will take participants along a seven-kilometre route through hills and green spaces. Once the park, the final destination, has been reached, the traditional Sun Salutation will be performed, followed by a country-style breakfast prepared with typical local produce. An event that combines physical activity, wellbeing and the celebration of the rural landscape.
In Verucchio, on Saturday 20 June, the Notte Rosa takes on the colours of the hinterland with “Hit’s Summer – Walk and Dinner under the Stars”. The event will begin in the late afternoon with a guided walk linking Villa Verucchio to the historic centre of the village. The arrival in Piazza Malatesta will be accompanied by live music and an aperitif open to participants. The evening will continue with a dinner dedicated to the flavours of Romagna’s culinary tradition, during which guests will have the chance to meet local producers and discover the region’s finest produce at first hand. On Sunday 21 June, Piazza Malatesta will host the finish of the Gara Titanica. Between midday and 1 pm, the village will welcome participants and the public for one of the most eagerly awaited sporting events of the weekend. The finish of the race will be accompanied by a communal aperitif organised by the Pro Loco, transforming the historic centre into a place of celebration and socialising.
In Riccione, on Saturday 20 June at 10 pm, Piazzale Roma will host ‘Magia in Movimento’, a show conceived and directed by Kledi Kadiu. The square will be transformed into a huge open-air theatre, featuring performances by some of the leading figures in Italian and international dance. The programme includes performances ranging from classical ballet to contemporary fusion, with a touch of Latin American dance. Guests include Giada Lini, Graziano Di Prima, Marianna Suriano, Giacomo Castellana, Anbeta Toromani, Alessandro Macario and the duo Riva & Repele. The event will be free of charge and will offer the public a show designed to celebrate the universal language of the body and movement.
Misano Adriatico will host “A Tutto Ballo” on Sunday 21 June from 9.30 pm to 11.30 pm at Parco del Sole. The Misano Brasile dance arena will be transformed into a huge open-air dance floor where dance instructors Andrea Giorgi and Nicole Ongaro will lead the audience through group dances and choreographies set to the summer’s biggest hits. An event open to all ages, designed to promote movement and fun through dance.
From 16 June to 13 September, every Friday in Cervia, you can take part in the “Traces of an Ancient Roman Salt Pan” walk. The route starts at the Cervia Salt Pan Visitor Centre in Via Bova and leads to the Camillone Salt Pan, the last salt pan where salt is still harvested by hand.
During the walk, which is about a kilometre long, the guides will recount the history of salt production and explain the findings of the archaeological excavations that have unearthed a Roman salt pan dating back to the 3rd century BC. The tour offers an opportunity to discover the age-old link between Cervia and the so-called ‘white gold’.
In Casola Valsenio, on 21, 27 and 28 June, the Giardino delle Erbe is hosting “A Thousand Shades of Lavender”. Guided tours will take participants through the lavender fields to observe the different varieties of the plant, ranging from shades of blue and purple to the rarest pink hues. Along the way, the properties of lavender essential oil and its uses in therapeutic, cosmetic and aromatherapy applications will be explained. The experience is designed as a sensory journey through colours, scents and nature.
In the Sant'Alberto area, within the Po Delta Park, ‘Boscoforte between sky and earth’ takes place. The excursion takes participants to the heart of the Boscoforte Peninsula, an extraordinary natural environment that is normally difficult to access. During the approximately five-kilometre route, you will be able to observe Camargue-Delta horses in the wild and discover ecosystems characterised by the simultaneous presence of fresh and brackish water. The activity is led by nature guides who explain the area’s biodiversity.
Also starting from Sant'Alberto is “The Flamingo Bike Ride at Sunset”, one of the most fascinating nature experiences in the entire programme. The route involves cycling through the Southern Valleys of Comacchio, after crossing the River Reno on an electric ferry. The twelve-kilometre route allows you to observe colonies of flamingos and numerous species of waterbirds up close, accompanied by environmental guides from the Po Delta Park.
In Mesola, on Sunday 21 June from 6.30 pm to 10.30 pm, Piazza Santo Spirito and the Castello Estense will host “Pink Castle Music and Boxing”. The initiative, organised in collaboration with former world champion Massimiliano Duran, will feature a series of men’s and women’s amateur boxing matches involving teams from various regional and inter-regional sports clubs. In addition to the competitive aspect, the event aims to promote the educational values of boxing, as a discipline based on respect for one’s opponent and the rules.
Among the most evocative moments of the early summer festival are the Albe in Rosa (Dawn in Pink), events that over the years have become some of the most recognisable symbols of the festival. Every year, thousands of people choose to sacrifice a few hours of sleep to attend concerts that begin when the sea is still silent and the towns are slowly waking up. Beaches, seafronts and villages are transformed into natural settings where music interacts with the landscape, creating atmospheres that are impossible to replicate at any other time of day.
On Saturday 20 June at 5am, the beach at Rimini Terme, in Miramare di Rimini, will host Petra Magoni and the Arké String Quartet with their show ‘Subversion’. The concert will offer a musical journey spanning different generations and styles, from Pink Floyd and David Bowie to Mozart and Franco Battiato. Petra Magoni’s voice will harmonise with the string instruments and electronic interludes, whilst the sun rises over the Adriatic Sea.
On Sunday 21 June at 5.15 am, the public beach at Marano in Riccione will welcome Venerus for the first event of the ‘Albe in Controluce’ series. The singer-songwriter will bring his ‘Speriamo 2026’ tour to the seaside, an immersive show designed as an ever-evolving emotional and sonic experience. The music will accompany the audience until 7 am, when daylight takes over from darkness.
In Cesenatico, on Sunday 21 June, the traditional dawn concert on the beach at Bagno Conti will kick off a season that will continue throughout the summer. The headliners will be Marco Betti & The Night Howlers with a repertoire inspired by Chicago Blues and the legendary Chess Records label. An event that renews a tradition spanning over a decade and represents one of the most beloved events on the Romagna coast.
Also on 21 June, at 6 am, the terrace of the ANSPI Club in Savignano sul Rubicone will host ‘Alba di Note’. Andrea Amati and Stefano Zambardino will perform ‘Fleurs’, a sophisticated tribute to the musical world of Franco Battiato, featuring reinterpretations and fresh takes on his most famous songs.
Finally, in Ferrara, the Certosa Monumentale will provide the setting for ‘Tra Ferrara e la Luna’. Andrea Poltronieri and his band will pay tribute to Lucio Dalla through a journey spanning the entire career of the Bolognese singer-songwriter. His songs will accompany the sunrise in one of the most evocative spots in the city of the Este family, bringing the story of Albe in Rosa 2026 to a fitting close.
