The magic of La Notte Rosa lights up Romagna as of today with a rich calendar of events anticipating the great summer festival. From the squares to the parks, from dance halls to the beaches, the territory is transformed into a widespread stage, where music, entertainment and tradition give life to a real pink prelude.
In Rimini, the old town centre comes alive with ‘Rimini Folk’: Piazza Cavour becomes a big dance hall under the stars thanks to the Frank David Show Orchestra and ballroom dancing melodies, for an evening that unites generations through dancing and conviviality. Marebello, too, joins in the festivities with the hilarious ‘Corrida’ at Laureti Park, while in Torre Pedrera children are the protagonists with ‘La Notte Rosa dei Piccoli’ in Piazza Sacchini, where Bimbobell puts on an interactive show made of music, games, and lots of fun.
In the hills, Montescudo-Monte Colombo welcomes the public with poetry and music thanks to the Rimini Classica concert in the square of Albereto Castle, and in Novafeltria the magic of Belcanto is breathed in with the preview of the Montefeltro Festival and the young talents of the Dublin Conservatory.
Bellaria-Igea Marina continues to celebrate the Pink Night with ‘Extra Time’: shows for children, an exhibition of LEGO bricks and many events not to be missed, such as the homage to the 1960s in Piazza Marcianò with ‘Balla e Sorridi’, or ‘Bailando on the Beach’ at the Polo Est Village, where Latin rhythms conquer the beach. In Riccione, the ‘Kids Family Festival’ transforms Piazzale Ceccarini into an arena of play and creativity, with installations, shows, workshops and evening shows such as that of Paolo Ruffini, up to the great Fluo parade at the end.
Fairytale atmospheres in San Giovanni in Marignano with the return of the ‘Notte delle Streghe’ (Witches' Night): five days of mysteries, markets, and shows that will enchant adults and children alike. In Cervia, on 19 June, the ancient tradition of salt harvesting is rediscovered with a walk through the suggestive Camillone Salt Pan, while the ‘Endless Summer’ exhibition, an artistic reflection on summer, continues at the Magazzino del Sale.
Ferrara offers medieval emotions with ‘La Giostra del Borgo’, among historical encampments, shows and gastronomy, and is tinged with pink with the permanent illumination of the Monumental Aqueduct for three nights. Big Pop arrives among arcade games, cosplay, fantasy and live concerts.
